Reader Question?
Do you mind the Google Adsense ads on the site? If you do not - would you prefer they all be images or text links?

I read using google reader so I get text Ads sometimes. I do read blogger when I read comments I like the way it is.

Don't mind, go for it. I prefer images over links. I figure with how much I enjoy your posts, you should get something out of it as well. Good luck with it.
Of course i don't mind the ads - the more streams of income you can have the easier it will be to achieve yout goal of self sufficiency - you go for it!

Honestly, I don't mind because I don't even see them. Ads are so prevalent on the web that I don't even notice them anymore. As long as they don't include audio, go with whatever ads bring you the most rewards for your site.
I mostly read in Google Reader; for a while there were lots of ads in the actual Reader post, but now there aren't any. When I go to the website (maybe weekly), I don't mind the ads at all. I don't think I have a preference for images vs. text. Maybe text, since the actual sponsors are images and that way I can separate them out as "Jenna-approved"?
I prefer whatever helps you get paid!

I don't mind the ads, but please keep them as images. Nothing drives me nuts quicker than scrolling down while reading and my mouse landing over a text ad making a text box pop up and cover what I'm trying to read. ;)

I don't really love ads anywhere, but they don't bother me at all on here. I know they are a source for some of your income, so no problem here.

I dont really pay too much attention to it anymore, just used to seeing them there. So no, they dont bother me. I do purposely check out your sponsers every so often.
I don't care either way, but I'd love for the blog to go back to the normal way when viewing on my iPad. A couple of weeks ago it started showing only the mobile version, and that's kinda useless for an iPad screen.

They don't bother me. I would go with images though - I don't even notice the text ads, but I've actually clicked on a few of the images because they intrigued me and I wondered what they were about.
You get paid for views too. Just a higher rate for click throughs
I like the text links. and they're often clearer about the content and what you're clicking on. Too many of the picture ones are just a picture (Ie a bowl of eggs)and you're left wondering "are you a website for egg recipes? Do you sell those bowls? are you a hatchery?" I've found some nifty links. I like them.

I prefer picture ads, so long as they aren't animated. Text links I find more distracting because your eye is always drawn to read what's there, I can't stop myself, whereas pictures you can register without paying as much attention :)
I don't know if this will be true for you or not but I don't get actual money from Google ads, just a coupon to advertise for them. I only got money the first year. I'm not sure what is going on, to tell the truth. Google ads don't bother me to look at but do find out if you get actual money.
I think that they're fine just the way they are.

I don't mind ads since I don't see any with adblock I have installed on my pc. I love adblock, one of the most useful aps there is.
Maybe I've just conditioned myself not to register such things, but they do not bother me at all and I hope they make you some money.

I'm with the not pop-ups or video comment. Otherwise, it's your blog but those 2 will keep me solely on the reader and not into the blog itself.

Dont mind yours, they dont do anything which is nice, and they are generally interesting and relate to the blog. Although the one with the beefcake guys at the top today, not sure what that one is for, wishful thinking maybe?
